Comfrey + Calendula Face Oil
Sunny, bright calendula promotes the repair of tissues– scars, rashes, acne, abrasions or inflammation.
In European folk medicine the summer flowers were dried to throw into winter soups. Drinking this fortifying broth helped protect against colds and flus.
Comfrey’s Latin name comes from the Greek word symphyo, meaning “to unite.” We find comfrey in texts going back thousands of years, all saying the same thing: it knits bones and wounds back together astonishingly quickly. Don't use the oil over an unclean wound because it can encourage the skin to grow right over it.
While it has a history of being collected alongside battlefields and used to heal the broken bones and deep wounds of warfare, it’s also unparalleled as an herb for issues of the skin. It calms and normalizes skin conditions, reducing inflammation and redness and softening and evening skin tone.
The grapeseed oil base is mildly astringent, making for a light, non-greasy feel.

potency guaranteed
This oil was made with a process Anikó perfected over five years of experimentation. Far more of the plants’ constituents have been extracted for an oil that’s more aromatic and potent than a typical infused oil. In short, it's more lush and more effective.

What if I have oily skin?
Oil can be used for any skin type as a moisturizer or cleanser without leaving you feeling greasy. It's just a matter of choosing the right oil and using the right amount.
Conventional chemical-filled cleansers and moisturizers easily interfere with our bodies' production and regulation of sebum, often exacerbating skin conditions and leaving us either extra dry and flaky or particularly greasy and acne prone.
