Butterfly pea flower increases collagen and elasticity in cells, decreases inflammation, and is soothing. Honey helps skin stay hydrated, fades scars, cleans out pores, encourages healing, and gently exfoliates and refines the skin with enzymes. Clay refines the skin, shrinks pores, and combats oiliness. Witch hazel shrinks pores and soothes inflammation.
The high clay content of the mask may cause temporary redness from over-drying if it is left on too long. You only want to remove excess oil, not the oil that is necessary to maintain the integrity of your skin as an environmental barrier. If you do leave the mask on too long, simply follow up with a face oil.

Choosing between Face Muds can be daunting (so many colors! so many ingredients!) Let’s break down the differences between them so you can figure out which ones are best for the unique needs of your skin.

The Inspiration
This product is inspired by the naturally therapeutic properties of the mineral-rich mud around Hungary’s thermal springs. The mud from a few springs are particularly sought out and packed on to the face or body to help with a host of issues.

When formulating the muds we knew we wanted COLOR. We created a menu options so everyone could find a match for the needs of their skin. And so everyone could have fun with a little face painting too!
